Quando perguntaram a Jesus qual era o grande mandamento, Jesus disse: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus, de todo o teu coração, de toda a tua alma, e de todo o teu pensamento, e amarás o teu próximo, como a ti mesmo (Mateus 22:37,39). "Porque assim como todos morreram em Adão, assim também todos serão vivificados em Cristo" (1ª Cori.15:22).
